Adventures
The TEDxUStreetWomen team will organize a welcome reception at the Four Seasons Georgetown the weekend prior to the conference. Break bread with the TEDxUStreetWomen team and others as we prepare for a phenomenal event with equally phenomenal speakers.
LOCAL TRIBUTE
Experience Washington DC - past and present. We will tour the Smithsonian's exhibit Twelve Years that Shook and Shaped Washington: 1963-1975 which is located at the University. This exhibit was researched, developed, and produced by the Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum. Funded in part by the University of the District of Columbia and the Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation.
TED Women2022
We will stream portions of the Official TED Women 2022 Conference (market rate $3,000.00 US). The theme this year is What Now! What a time it has been! The past year has upended so much for so many, and forced global reckonings with systems, processes and policies that too often let us down. So … what now? At this year’s triumphantly live-and-in-person TEDWomen, we’ll hear from speakers who are imagining new possibilities and exploring new ideas for how we might live and work better together in the years to come.
